and the days dwindle down...

We might not have cool weather yet, but the afternoons glow with long, autumnal light.

It's definitely September.

Judy Williams said...: This is just so beautiful. It's almost bittersweet though because we have cooler temps for the first time in 3 months, yet surrounding counties are having the WORST wildfires. One has spread to 25,000 acres and half a a State Park is gone in Bastrop County. I wish we could get some of the rain that the Gulf Coast got.
