Summer's flashy crape myrtle trees continue to bloom like crazy. Soon, the maples will add their deep, earthy colors and ginkos will upstage every other tree with bright gold...
Camino Verde has always been a beautiful look. well, at least from the top looking down. At the bottom looking up, it's daunting. Especially if you're a kid with a paper route and a loaded wagon full of papers.
Am feeling like I need to find a wagon and some Vans tennies and go for a nice downhill ride.
In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena. This daily blog covered almost 5 years as I put down roots in my new home town -- and almost 5 more as I settled in and became a South Pas old-timer. Here it is...my time capsule of South Pasadena.
