This is just so beautiful. It's almost bittersweet though because we have cooler temps for the first time in 3 months, yet surrounding counties are having the WORST wildfires. One has spread to 25,000 acres and half a a State Park is gone in Bastrop County. I wish we could get some of the rain that the Gulf Coast got. Send positive thoughts to Central Texas.
Yes, it's a beautiful shot, and Sarah Vaughn & Clifford Brown were magic music makers for five minutes and 48 seconds. I played it twice! Thanks, Laurie.

Thank you Charlie's Coffee House for hosting my photo exhibit, South Pas: Observed. From October 2011 through January 2012 my pictures graced the walls of the best place in town to get a cup of coffee!

Last night was spectacular and of course I was walking about without a camera. I'm glad you caught it from the sunset side. Spectacular!
IMHO December is one of the most beautiful songs of all time. I have Willie Nelson's version
I thot this shot was one of mine for a second! Good one. I got plenty of these to show, just not enuf time to post them.
September's nice, too, PA!
Such a beautiful song to go with a lovely picture. Now, if we here in Austin could just have, "September in the Rain."

My heart breaks for Bastrop. Shades of our Station Fire. Wish one of the tropical storms would bring rain to Texas.
It's fast becoming an oopsy kind of day. This is my brain without air conditioning
Yes, last night was one of the more dramatic sunsets I've seen in a while.
Beautiful shot. And on an iphone?

Yup, I pulled over w/o my camera and grabbed this w/ the iPhone. The HDR setting is great if you can manage a steady hand.
Thanks, you guys!
Watch for my new post, September Song, photos taken on Sunday.
