Mom and I drove around the other night and listened to the entire Tony Bennett Duets II CD. I loved the night lights and the fabulous singing and orchestration. Remind me to drive around at night more often, listening to music.
Judy and I did have a good time wandering the streets and listening to Tony Bennett's fabulous new album. Duos from Lady GaGa to Willie Nelson. We stopped at a light and in front of us was a red Porsche convertible, license plates, "Hpy Wif". Need I say more?
At first I thought it was Hippy Wife, then I realized after studying the car that it was Happy Wife. The first would have probably driven a VW Vanagon or perhaps a Beetle. ;P

In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena. This daily blog covered almost 5 years as I put down roots in my new home town -- and almost 5 more as I settled in and became a South Pas old-timer. Here it is...my time capsule of South Pasadena.
