The History of Glimpses
In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena. This daily blog covered almost 5 years as I put down roots in my new home town -- and almost 5 more as I settled in and became a South Pas old-timer. Here it is...my time capsule of South Pasadena.

I like the minimalism. When you study simple things, you realize they aren't that uncomplicated after all. Really good.
Ponce de Leon looked for the fountain of youth. Many are still looking. The fountain of knowledge is cheaper.
Funny quote. There's no scale for reference, but the fountain appears to be unusually close to the ground.
Is that from Marengo Elementary school?
And I am always soooo thirsty.
When I was a kid, before the Salk vaccine, we were warned not to drink out of water fountains.
Hmmm...I think I need to drink from the fountain some more!!!
