What's a blogger to do when she's been under the weather and finds herself unprepared for a post?
Look! Something pretty!
The change of season has Mother Nature dressing the sky in warmer hues. (Though, it will be a few months before we see this shade of gold.)

What a nice photo. I love this beautiful light, the colour of it. That only "Mother Nature" can practice.
Oh this is so beautiful! Hope you get out from that under the weather feeling soon, Laurie xxx
You know me. You can never go wrong with a beautiful sunset, regardless of the season. This one is no exception.
It's always hard for me to be so far away when you are under the weather. I hope today brings you back to feeling well. All of my healing thoughts are with you.
The image is cut in half - with the complimentary colors of wheaten gold and azure blue. How fabulous. Then you have the sun framed by those spindly branches and VOILA: a masterpiece. YAY!!!!
wv: booin
I'm booin' those bad feelings right out of your way. :)
Ooooooo. Nice.
Beautiful sky!
Happy Friday.
Get well soon LA
Aw, thanks you guys! I'm feeling much better today.
Oh, and welcome, Lewi14!
Wow! The colors, composition and positioning of the sun beneath the branch; perfect!
LA: This photo is utterly gorgeous. It is so serene, and inspires such a love for nature, that I am convinced it would ward off negative spirits if it were hanging on a wall in my home!
Beautiful photo Laurie!!! I love the colors...unusual colors for a sunset out here...
Glad you're on the mend!
very pretty. Looks like it was taken from the outdoor balcony of Shanna's home
Yes, we are now acquainted in the flesh. It was fun
Maybe listen to Chopin? That is what I see and hear, someting beautiful.
Russ just made your blog my home page... I'll be seeing more of GOSP.
PA: Acquainted in the flesh??? That sounds like the words of a Bible-Thumping No-Cuss-Weeking Southern Preacher. "I know what they do out in California. They have women who are getting acquainted in the flesh! It's not right, I tell you. It's against God's law!"
I'm so glad PA and SG have met face to face! Wish I could have been there.
Yup, I'm definitely on the mend. Thanks, everyone.
that branch looks like fine italianate ironwork against the sky.
YES, that was PRETTY! Thanks for sharing.
That's a beauty.
Thanks, you guys!
