Easy Rider! I like the boots and helmet. Very stylish, yet functional.
You're right. Most cyclists wouldn't dare wear a skirt and fashionable boots. I do see lots of stretchy shorts and cycling shoes though. It's really popular hear and especially on the weekends, you see all kinds of groups on some of the outlying roads. I always marvel at their ability to ride uphill.
I like how the cars frame her and she turns left with her bag of groceries. The trees overhead are a nice natural border as well.
At first I thought it was the hat, but then I realized... it's the 'tude!
love it! the GOSP bike thread is growing:)
Oh everyone here has to wear the "bike costume". You know, the helmet, the tight, bright shirt with crap all over it , the pants, the shoes, the water bottle....and did I mention tying up traffic?

Bravo for this lady! She's not a Lance Armstrong wannabe.
Definitely a unique capture. And I keep wondering if she's got another bag on the other side to balance things out. Another strange thing is how many parking spots are available on the street. In my opinion, the Trader Joe's parking lot is one of the most dangerous places in South Pas, to drivers and pedestrians alike, so street parking is essential. At peak shopping hours, this street is jammed.
WV: buris: I plexicoed my buris in the TJ's parking lot.
With the sharp-looking outfit she's wearing, it looks to me like she's making a professional delivery. Nice shot!
What do you think, Laurie?
Who is this amazing woman? Love her! Great photo.
