Too bad! With the incredible sunset light of late, I just can't help myself.
For those of you paying attention, yes, I completely spaced out about this month's City Daily Photo Theme Day. (Don't blame me, I'm dazed from staring into the setting sun!) This month's theme is Bakeries. If I'd been paying attention, I would have highlighted South Pasadena's delightful Heirloom Bakery (Wait a minute, I've done that already...) You can still get your vicarious sugar rush by checking out my fellow City Daily bloggers for shots of yummy treats from around the world.

Well now look at that! I like the mission style building - almost reminiscent of the Alamo (although you would be hard pressed to find any palm trees in San Antonio). I'm sure there's some sad song that would accompany this perfectly, but I just woke up and I'm barely able to focus on this awesome sunset!
Nice!
Look what treat mother nature cooked up! That will stay in the theme day mode!!!
I love this.
I'm never sick of skies. Palm trees, yes...but golden skies are truly magic!
Sadly, if the city planners in your county get their way, those palm trees will not be replaced when they die, except on the "tourist" streets.
I forgot too LA!!! This is lovely!!!
