I'd read a while back that the "hard-to-read-words" access thing was for the purpose of the public helping in figuring out hard-to-read-words from old texts. Good. Tikkun olam. Is that right? I make a minor mistake interpeting the obscure writing and I can't publish a comment? They know I made a mistake so they already know the words? Humbug. (Of course, I'll have to try and figure out the scrawl.) Gosh...first try failed. If you want comments, you should make it easier. Will try again.
I just gained 5 pounds looking at that delicious confection. Geez.
Yeah, I've learned to fine tune the hard-to-read words problem. I put on magnifying glasses and try. If not on the first attempt, I can usually get it on the 2nd, but not always. I understand security, but really??
Anon, I hate the latest blogger word verification but everytime I remove it I get spammed beyond reason. I must be on a list or something. I apologize for the hassle but at least you guys aren't inundated with porn links and Chinese marketing texts.
Incidentally, the change to harder word verification definitely cut my comments in half. A lot of people don't want to bother with it, and I understand. I don't comment on other blogs much anymore, either!
Wish I had a better spam stopper but blogger's system is great otherwise.
In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena.
