I was going to tell you a few little-known facts about South Pasadena's famous Oaklawn bridge, but after volunteering at Little Bit's school and then helping her with almost 2 hours of homework, I have no capacity for coherent thoughts. Talk amongst yourselves!

One idea for this would be "Shaggy." If group of English Sheepdogs came back to life in tree form, this is what they would look like.
Or maybe this bridge (if I didn't already know) could be leading to a beach front just on the other side of our view. Some guy with a surfboard is listening to vintage 60's beach music as he waxes his board. Here You Go

I heard homework was bad in elementary school now. Weird.
Walked that bridge and that neighborhood countless times to get to the services across the street.
No idea that Greene and Greene had anything to do with it.
Nice to see it restored. I remember some some ugly blacktop back in my day. I think folks were able to drive their vehicles over the bridge back then.. Good thing that it's left alone now for the pedestrians.
Upon my discovery of Columbia Alley off Fremont just south of Columbia I was trying to remember the shortcut I used to take from Fremont to the Oaklawn neighborhood usually on route to the services over the bridge and across Fair Oaks.
It's an alley just a tick northeast of Fremont and Buena Vista...
Funny that google found a name for Columbia alley (an alley I don't recall ever visiting) and didn't notice this handy little alley that I used countless times.
