The History of Glimpses
In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena. This daily blog covered almost 5 years as I put down roots in my new home town -- and almost 5 more as I settled in and became a South Pas old-timer. Here it is...my time capsule of South Pasadena.

Scott, your test worked. ;)
Laurie - remember Chapel Hill? You could go on any weekend night and see at least 10 cars (usually some you recognized) with couples in various stages of making out. I don't think the church committee had that in mind when it gave that Episcopal church such a large parking lot.
What a gorgeous study in shades of lavender!

This might be my favorite Arroyo Drive shot. Great contrast of those black shadows with purple sky and clouds.
