Little Bit isn't the only one still running a fever. South Pasadena sweltered yesterday with yet another day of unrelenting heat. (My garden thermometer was 101 at 3:00PM.) What happened to autumn?

The History of Glimpses
In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena. This daily blog covered almost 5 years as I put down roots in my new home town -- and almost 5 more as I settled in and became a South Pas old-timer. Here it is...my time capsule of South Pasadena.

Well, the heat at this time of the year is something I don't miss about So Cal. I actually remember cooking Thanksgiving dinner one year in shorts!!! Hope your little one feels better soon.

It's common weather in Fall. It was 113 when I was a senior at SPHS with NO AC.
No matter how long I live in LA, and i have been here for almost 30 years, I still don't expect hot weathr in October.
I'm with Green Guy. I've been in LA almost 24 years and I always forget our cold Junes & hot Octobers!
