The History of Glimpses
In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena. This daily blog covered almost 5 years as I put down roots in my new home town -- and almost 5 more as I settled in and became a South Pas old-timer. Here it is...my time capsule of South Pasadena.

WHere is THAT?
When Miriam asked Bob to repaint the fence, this was not what she had in mind.
When I first looked at this, I saw a bunch of paint. Then a green-eyed tiger appeared, jumping through a circle.
Is that a tiger or Andy Rooney?

Oh Lord, I thought it was all the drugs we did in JrHi that made that mural look so funky...I mean, if I'd ever done any by anything other than 2nd hand smoke. And is it just me or is it the mascot with a Liberace looking twist?
