Cruising

I've seen this car cruising in South Pas before, but never had a camera handy to get a shot of it. I got lucky the other day and noticed it on Huntington when I was headed toward the Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia. Who me? Obsessed with vintage cars? Nah. I like to think of it like birdwatching. (Only cooler.)

There's a car like that seems to be housed at the northeast corner of Monterey and Fairview.

The other night at the Arco station I spoke to a man who just bought a '65 Pontiac station wagon - kind of a metalic brown. Newly painted, but had just one owner. You'll probably see it around town.

Oh, Mr. E! I have an affinity for Pontiacs, after having sold them for four years in the 80's. I'm still holding out for a '70 GTO.

This old Chevy is great. I immediately thought of "Little Deuce Coupe" by the Beach Boys, although that's not exactly what this is.

There's going to be a classic car rally here in Austin on Sunday, so I'm hoping to get some fun shots on my camera!

How do you always manage to get shots with no other cars around?! Amazing.
