For those of you having trouble keeping those new year's resolutions to eat healthier: the South Pasadena Farmers Market offers plenty of incentives. (Just don't tell anybody about the Cool Whip you pick up at Vons.)
I'm always so impressed with the glorious produce you have at the market. I could delve into that photo right now, but probably would only enjoy the texture. Cedar fever has hit me full blast and I sound like I'm talking through a tube with a clothes pin on my nose.
You had me on the berries...but lost me with the Cool Whip!!! Anything but Cool Whip!!! I make my own whipped cream...far better and far better for you!!! Of course, with berries there's also always a bit of Chambord or Grand Marnier or, or, chocolate Hagen Daz!!!
In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena. This daily blog covered almost 5 years as I put down roots in my new home town -- and almost 5 more as I settled in and became a South Pas old-timer. Here it is...my time capsule of South Pasadena.

That wasn't my resolution...but I'll make it one of mine if I can have those berries! We don't have enough berries in Japan.
