In Good Spirits

The Meridian Iron Works building always puts me in a happy mood when I see it. It has been around since 1887, serving as many things over the years including a hotel, a grocery store and a blacksmith shop. Now it's the South Pasadena Historical Museum, as well as a cheerful place to hang out while waiting for a train.

Little Bit, however, is convinced that all the ghosts in town hang out upstairs there. What do you think?

I love how you composed this one. Another spot I must visit your way. I made an unplanned stop in So Pas on Sat afternoon...took my friend to Norton Simon earlier in the day and thought we'd eat at "Gare" on the way back...but we hit it btw meal times. Still had a nice meal at Nicole's. I sent hugs your way.

I'm pretty sure Little Bit is absolutely correct on this one.

Little Bit has a wild imagination. Wonder where she gets that? HA Hope to see you and your clan in the next few months!!

Can't you just imagine all of the ghosts playing canasta and tapping their feet, adorned with high top button shoes? Great perspective. It's like I'm looking through, into another time somehow.

I didn't comment yesterday, as the 31 ounce Starbucks I drank early in the day had me spending way too much time... well, you know.

No, sid. You cannot have a Trente at Starbucks. Now go talk to the ghosts!

Don't know about ghosts, but there are bats in the belfry and clowns in the closets!

Definitely some ghosts up there.

I have no doubt Little Bit is correct.

I'm pretty sure they're friendly ghosts. Bit loves to go see the doll houses and won't leave without going upstairs.

Little Bit is right. I've been up there. You can feel them waiting for you to leave so they can get back to...whatever it is they do up there.

I'm with Little Bit. Seems like a logical place to be if you are a ghost. Just so the clowns stay in the closets.

I think she may know more than we think. Take a look at it again here:

I thought that it is a former...well...you know, uhmmm, brothel up there.
Those places seem to harbor ghosts, or so I have heard.

Kim, that is way cool. Ghosts hovering. Things are not always as they seem.
