A lovely quote, a lovely sky, especially after a storm. We need these blue sky days to help brace us for the next one.

Oh my!!! I love his quotes. So timeless and simple. I like the juxtaposition between the tree on the right and the lamppost (?) on the left.

I always liked those transcendentalists. Cool shot, too.

I've been away on vacation and have a lot to catch up on between your blog and your column. Happy New Year, everyone.

I have always liked those particular street lamps on Mission Street. This is an interesting way to feature one, in shadow.

Hey gang,

Good to see you Green Guy and Mike!

There have been some wonderful skies lately, in between storms. I need to get over to Shanna's blog and see what she has captured!

I couldn't leave a comment at south Pasadena Patch but I wanted to say how brilliant your column is. I don't know how you can write and take pictures equally well. Love your blog, too.

Dixie Jane
didn't you once call this a "buttermilk sky"? I've always liked that description

It must have been a truly beautiful day for the cloud patterns you captured are a feast for the eyes.

The sky above South Pasadena is something to write about!
