Nice photo. There was a most amazing rainbow yesterday afternoon around 3 or 4. I was coming out of Vons and this rainbow stretched all the way from Bristol Farms to the middle school - full horizon, and at the north end it was a little bit double. One of the best I've seen.
Glad Earl caught the bow. I did too and of course without camera. I was in Lacy Park where I went to the treeless center and saw the entire undisturbed arc. Actually a second rainbow was forming. Let me tell you, not having a camera was painful.
In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena. We were inside enjoying a fire on a rainy Sunday afternoon, so we missed the display in the sky.
