I really love this photograph, but I can't think of a thing to write about it.
That's where you come in...

2nd verse:
The first daffodil and long excited cables,
And candle lights on little corner tables,
And still my heart has wings...
These foolish things remind me of you.
The park at evening when the bell has sounded,
The 'Ile-de-France' with all the gulls around it,
The beauty that is spring's...
These foolish things remind me of you.
How strange, how sweet
To find you still,
These things are dear to me,
They seem to bring you near to me.
The sigh of midnight trains in empty stations,
Silk stockings tossed aside, dance invitations.
Oh, how the ghost of you clings!
These foolish things remind me of you...
These foolish things remind me of you.
And that is what I see.....

Re: yesterday's post. Yes, there are buttermilk skies in that photo. I know buttermilk, I drink it, Hoagy Carmichel wrote a song about them. How nice of you to remember.

I'LL BE SEEING YOU
Beatrice and Vince celebrated with a toast of champagne and desserts. Then vanished into thin air.
The ghost of a toast
Wait a minute...
There are three empty champagne glasses, two regular chairs and a child's booster seat. Beatrice and Vince didn't vanish into thin air, they ran from the law for letting Junior share the bottle with them.
For Mister Earl:
You've made my heart sing. Thank you.
You're never too young to celebrate a new year.
That kids chair really is hilarious.
I never noticed the 3rd glass. Maybe Bea had the other glass and Vince is pissed cause she didn't share.
wv: teeparne
They were hoping for a teeparne and instead they got champagne and pie.
there certainly were a lot more shoppers there yesterday...and no one offered ME champagne...high chair or not!
I'd have to suggest that it took 3 men to feed that baby, which is why they needed the champagne!
Are you sure South Pasadena isn't in Europe? These pictures do not look like the Los Angeles that I remember. Beautiful!
