And while you're at it, toss a quarter not a penny...

So, the next time you stop by Starbucks on Fair Oaks, indulge that caffeine jones with the ginormous new Trenta sized coffee. At 31 ounces, it's actually larger than a human stomach! You can use the fountain outside to make a wish that you make it home without your head -- or bladder -- exploding.

See, Genie? I'm following you.

Be sure and stop by Seattle today, Laurie: http://seattle-daily-photo.blogspot.com/

Never say never, but it's unlikely I'll have a Trenta soon!

The Starbucks Big Gulp. What's next? This will cause a new problem with the younger generation, and I'm including my 30 something kids, who always purchase the largest size drink possible. They don't finish it and throw the partially empty cup in the trash without dumping the contents in the sink. Now we can expect half empty Starbucks Big Gulps in the waste basket. Gross.

Hi people!

Welcome, Genie!

I thought the Trenta news story was a joke when I first heard it. Honestly, I'm a coffee junkie but 31 ounces?

But, as Stephen Colbert informed us on a recent show, the original Big Gulp (7-11?) has been downsized about 4 oz.

I need two of those this morning.

the Trenta is indeed large. But if they fill half of the cup with ice, you'll basically be getting a grande sized drink.
