I hadn't planned on playing my favorite game again so soon, but when I drove past the library and saw the tree from yesterday's post being used as a backdrop for yet another South Pas film shoot, I couldn't resist.
Since this actually is a setting for a movie, what do you think the scene is about?

Straight from a successful novel by Nicholas Sparks, the production company can't crank out soon enough "The Sweetheart Tree."
The sappy plot will be tagged as a "chick flick." :)
Laurie,
You have to come see my show at the SoPas gallery. Four (yes four!) of your beautiful photos were used as inspiration for paintings. I also am self publishing a book on the show (it's called Headlines) and gave you credit for the photos. So now you know why I was trying to email you ...
that light that light that light!
Maybe it's got something to do with Mad Men.
Congratulations Leslie
It's another remake. This time it's the classic mini-series "Roots." It's being produced by the Cohen Brothers.
It's a new musical..."Marion, the Librarian"
Oh I loved Marion from Music Man. Now I'll be humming that tune the rest of the day. :)

Laurie's title should she suddenly stop doing the blog, and instead decide to help deliver babies.
Looks like an episode of Glee to me!
Maybe they are filming "A Tree Grows in South Pasadena" - Brooklyn wasn't available.
Howdy gang.
Leslie! I can't wait to see your show -- and everyone else here in town needs to check it out, too! I'm happy to have been part of your creative process. (I still can't figure out why I'm not receiving your email messages. I never got one at my gmail addy, either, but I DO get your email newsletters automatically sent from your blog. Hmmmm...)
I love all of the ideas, people. And if this was Mad Men and I didn't know about it, I'm going to be cranky. One of these days I"m going to stalk that production. It's one of my favorite shows.
Until tomorrow, everyone...
