This table and chairs have been along side the Union Bakery for years. I've never seen them used. But, Union Bakery is fantastic - Wally and Jun have a nice little business, and they make the best tuna sandwich in town.
In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena. Babbette was excited by the suggestive hint of intertwining legs.

There's a face that I see, with glassy eyes, bushy green eyebrows, charcoal nose with brassy nares, and flat concrete lips.
