This grassy spot is tucked away in a curve of street as you drive from Mission past the golf course and toward lower Arroyo park. Looks worthy of a picnic blanket to me...
Happy Earth Day, everyone!

I like the juxtaposition between the rounded tree and the more triangular shape of the conifer.
Today is also my son's 15th birthday!! Happy Earth Day (Birthday)!!
I like the picnic idea.
And I see you got some So Pas lilac in there.
A pretty peekaboo of spring!!!
Pass the deviled eggs, watermelon and chicken salad sandwiches. And have a Happy Earth Day. A Happy Birthday to my grandson!
Found this on someone's Earth Day photo today.
Never say there is nothing beautiful in the world anymore. There is always something to make you wonder in the shape of a tree, the trembling of a leaf.” - Albert Schweitzer
If Dixie Jane is bringing the deviled eggs, watermelon and chicken salad sandwiches, I'll bring some potato salad, chips, and red punch. Mr. Earl can bring the music.
And I'll bring the thermos full of coffee, and flask of brandy to ward against this unseasonable spring chill. Brrrr.
Thanks, everyone. Until tomorrow...
