Sunset over the 110 Freeway

I stopped along Arroyo Drive the other night to take in the view...

Spectacular colors! Is that flash of white near the bottom of the clouds and above the tree poking up above the horizon to the left of the power lines a UFO? It appears to be some form of extra terrestrial. Laurie must have run out of old cars, and is now taking photos of other-worldly objects.

Nice to see sunsets like this that are not driven by the horrible fires! This is gorgeous L. And I'm sorry Monsieur Soleil scared Miss Priss! Awwww. I'll bet she'll like the little girl I have up today! :)

Laurie, love your blog and your photos. Cool images of the town I call home really made my day. Life in South Pas just got a little brighter. Thanks for posting.

I can almost eat that sky color!!! When you click on the big view, it's so cool. I love night shots because the lights take on a life of their own as stars. :~)

sherbet sky along the way
surely takes my breath away
twinkling stars of man-made light
guides us all throughout the night

Judy... save a spoonful of that peachy sky for me!

What a gorgeous meeting of the natural and man-made worlds.

Looks like a watercolor wash. And the freeway looks amazing.

Hey everyone,

Welcome Grateful Twin Mom!

Thanks for the kind words. DB and Mister E, I am choosing to believe the flash of light in the sky was, indeed, a UFO. After all, there was the blackout and the nine unrecognizable images on my camera... :-)

Love the rhymes, Jude!

And thank you, everyone, for all the kind words. Until manana...
