Hangar On...

At first, I thought this was the Goodyear blimp, making one last flight over the San Gabriel Valley after the Rose Bowl. Then I saw the words "Hangar Vodka" on the side of it...

Hey! That's just another way to have a good year!

For more on blimps in South Pasadena's history, check out my post here.

I like the peaks of those trees as arrows pointing up toward the blimp. I've never heard of Hangar vodka.

Let's raise a gimlet or screwdriver or a bloody mary in its honor. Nothing beats a vodka tonic (I once had a bartender muddle orange in the bottom of the glass along with the traditional lime) on a hot day.

I popped in to look at this again and for a second, it looked like an underwater scene.

Glub glub.
