Nice shot! It's a Hudson Commodore coupe, but I don't know the marque well enough to determine the year exactly, but most likely the 1948 or 1949 model.
You're forgiven, Laurie. It's a different model, but when I first saw it I immediately thought of the first car used in "Driving Miss Dasiy," a '49 Hudson.
In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena. That is an absolute gem of a car! I'd die to ride in it or drive it!
I wouldn't have resisted, either. That is a beauty. It's all the Dena, after all.
