That is crazy. I can see them, when no one is looking, starting to "shake their wigs" and dance about. That's just about the funniest bush/tree I've ever seen.
reminds me of my grandparents oleander trees...Mr Fukiyama was only so tall, as was his ladder and trimmer. he finally had to buy a longer ladder to trim the trees properly.
and...as long as you don't look too hard, the junipers look just fine...just furry on top.
In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena. These trees really do crack me up. Little Bit pointed them out and now whenever I see them I can imagine them saying "Dude!" to each other.
