Next time you're having coffee at Charlie's, be sure to look up. You'll be amazed by the largest, most elegant ceiling fan you've ever seen. (Too bad it's saddled with this name.)

The History of Glimpses
In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena. This daily blog covered almost 5 years as I put down roots in my new home town -- and almost 5 more as I settled in and became a South Pas old-timer. Here it is...my time capsule of South Pasadena.

OH that's great. This would actually make a really cool ULTRA LARGE print. I'm particularly fond of the color of the blue ceiling. Love the name of the company that makes it.

Our hot summers call for Big Ass Faans. The company is definitely not timid.
I agree with what The Earl of SoPasa said.
Mr. Earl's being polite since he's the Biggest Ass Fan of the Giants in South Pasadena. Perhaps a fan like this should be mounted in the City Council Chambers to cool things down.
I've got a whole bunch of Giants World Series gear that it looks like I can't wear in LA anymore. Has crossed my mind sometimes that I shouldn't even wear a Giants cap while driving - even before last Thursday.
I like Charlie's. Nice people run it. And I'd also like to paint my law furniture that wall color

That explains it. Charlie's opened less than a year ago. I like the fan. That makes me a fan of the fan.
