Sunrise over Foremost Liquor

I can already hear your questions: what was I doing outside a liquor store in the early morning hours, and didn't my mother ever tell me not to stare at the sun?!

I know I posted a couple of similar shot recently here and here, but I've been inspired by the sun as a subject. Blame it on recent solar flares.

UPDATE: My latest column at South Pasadena Patch will post sometime before lunch today. It's about Fair Oaks -- please read/watch and add your opinions to the comments section.

The stillness of morning. That tree is a perfect side border. I really like this image's simplicity. :)

Now Laurie...had you not mentioned the Foremost Liquor store, we never would have known that you were hanging out there in the early morning hours...now we KNOW!!! Ah well...glad to know it didn't impair your eye for great photos!!!

that's not just ANY liquor store, that's Foremost...almost, not really a liquor store at all. Well, ok, except the times when people have tried to make it a drive-THRU liquor store. In my mind, it isn't any more a liquor store than Trader Joe's is a liquor store...tho, TJ's offers more healthy options. but, to each his own, and pray to your own G-d in your own manner

beautiful shot, but stop staring at the sun! ;-)

wv: mishcon...humnn, mr earl ought to know this one...mishkan...;-)
