Maybe if you squint...

Whenever we drive along Fair Oaks my four year old insists the side of this building looks like "robot faces hiding behind trees."

There's a metaphor in there somewhere.

Little Bit is on to something here.

And I can't help noticing the blue sky. We haven't had a blue sky here in ages.

Too much Transformers? ;)
I do see the cyclops eye though.

Love how the brick looks with the green trees.

I like the curved columns amidst the sharp angles of the brick overhangs and reflective windows. They do look like robots!!! I'm always a fan of the mix of man-made and natural. I like how the upper windows are giving us back their version of the blue sky. :)

That's really cool. Little Bit saw something interesting in the one building I never pay attention to. Then you turn it into a great photo!

WV: tramo, as in Tramo, the robot who takes you places.

These buildings look institutional... how are they used?

It's said that, as a child, Einstein cried when he saw Nazis marching in a parade, because they looked like machines.

Whatever you do, don't let the CIA find out about Little Bit's amazing powers of empathy and perception... she could be their next conscript for staring at goats.

LA: Is Istanbuldailyphoto really from Istanbul? WOW, you are building an amazing international following!

That's an office building on Fair Oaks, Yak. Although it's a newer building by South Pasadena standards, it's attractive, well maintained, and fits in well.

Little Bit has an amazing imagination and ability to see things the rest of us simply pass by.
