Just Guessing

I think there is a desk up there, right behind that window. And somewhere buried underneath a stack of papers is something -- a coffee mug or perhaps a framed plaque -- that says, "a clean desk is a sign of a sick mind."

What do you think?

I see a frustrated writer sitting behind that window on the left, with cigarette hanging from his lip. He's deep in thought but has a bit of writers block and with his New Year's resolution to quit smoking, that is NOT helping him one bit.

Marylou stopped writing on her novel and decided to dust the blinds, much to her dismay.

Ha-Ha, Dixie! From the voice of experience, I'm sure!

There IS a novel-in-progress behind that window... the author wrote the first draft 25 years ago... but it always needs "one last" rewrite.

The little screen on the big window has me so annoyed that I can't work! (I am writing this for myself, not for the author inside.)

It ain't a coffee cup I see up there. Not one filled with coffee, anyway.

This is a filming location for a remake of "Finding Forrester." The dingy apartment of an aged, recluse writer overlooks the basket ball courts at the High School. Since Laurie Allee is the producer, the character played by Sean Connery will be played in the new version by Willie Nelson. He also has written the sound track.

You guys rock.

Honey, don't you mind me. You just keep on writing, and I'll just tidy up around here. Do you mind if I rip these nasty mini blinds down?? ( Lord have mercy!)

Mid Century moderns are a devil to keep up. Those flat roofs...gads.

Oh, man, after my day...I can't say what I see up there. But I don't see a writer's place. Not a writer who's finished anything.

But that sounds like I had a bad day and I didn't I had a great day. And Dixie Jane, you made me laugh!

Ahhh, I knew I could count on you guys. Isn't this a bizarre window?

I must say, I do love the idea of Willie Nelson up there writing. Or whatever it is he's doing.

Until tomorrow!

Mercy! And Merci to you Virg. I could have nighmares about those miniblinds.

Actually, that's the South Pasadena Feng Shui Center.

I am far to observant but do remember taking note of that window driving up the street. I was noting that the window glass is missing (on the right). I'm always impressed by people tough enough to live with perennially open windows.
