Grand Entrance

I don't know which I like most: the big red door, or the little black awning.

Or, how about the Christmas wreath in late February? Nice flowers - iris, cyclamen and perhaps petunias? Spring is right around the corner.

I can easily see it as a drawing by Shell Sherree!

.....and I like the black iron lace above the red door with the Spring wreath. I wonder what the people are like that live here....

So nice to see wreaths and flowers in late February. Everything here is dead and brown. Upon enlargement I see that the wreath has fruit. Thanks, Laurie for the cheer.

I agree with Dixie... that lacy black wrought iron really makes the look.

In fact, everything about this entrance is perfection, including the two potted trees. LA: Is this a residence?

I love red doors. I can also see one of Little Bit's faces here.

It looks like it was a very bright & sunny day.
I'll rate this one 2 cups of coffee.

Even the shadows have symetry.

It looks somehow like a pretty little candy box. I wonder who lives inside...

Db, it's not a Christmas wreath but a decorative spring wreath. (My mom makes wreaths. We always had them for every season!)

It's a residence, up near the Green and Green houses on the North side of town. I am always so charmed by that lacy awning.

I know, Laurie. But to me, any wreath on a front door is a Christmas wreath.

If I were color blind, I might sing this!

I was wondering about that wreath too db. I like the newspaper that didn't quite make it to the porch.

Thanks, y'all!

I often take photographs of the little details of homes in South Pas. There are wonderful hints about the people who live there. I remember the little zen studio and, of course, this hammock and this swing. The great thing about this blog is that it has forced me to really look at my community in a way I probably have never done before.

Until tomorrow, everyone...
