Caption this photo (#26)

Where the red fern grows? Nope, that's been done. Anyone else?

What a beautiful place and photo.
I like the angel you have taken it from.

I'm pretty sure these are poinsettia plants from the farm in Encinitas. I imagine they were purchased when the building was new, to brighten the home for the holidays. After the holidays, the plants were moved outside and became part of the landscape. Where they continue to brighten our town and live happily ever after. That's more of a story than a caption.

This is lovely. I like the perspective, looking up to also include the sky.

as the two grew together
they blossomed
and became one

intertwining branches
bursting
with the colors
of love

The Emily Dickinson poem comes to mind...
"Like Mighty Foot Lights—burned the Red
At Bases of the Trees"

These are great. Props to Yak for the topical reference!

The flowers raised up as far as they could in hopes of catching a few hours of sunshine until the rains came again.

I don't want to give it a title. I just want to look at it. Having said that I like Yakpates best and the red goes to San Diego Farm Girl.

Here I am again...late, but it's never too late...??
I think it's a red coral tree - & I think it looks so beautiful against a nice but ordinary building.
So, a caption: - a coral suffusion profusion??
