If you drive west on Huntington from here to just past here, this is what you will see if you look up. I pulled the car over the other day to try and find the sippy cup my daughter had dropped on the floor. This was the view out of my sun roof. (I'm beginning to think I should do a photo series of South Pas palms shot from the sun roof...)

I love the contrast of the deep green with the blue.
WV: But what do I know? I'm a very "hummull" man.
Do I dare repeat how much I love diagonal lines? This has terrific composition and I like the stark black of their trunks and the evergreen color of the fronds with the light bright sky. Those white clouds are literally the icing on the cake. :~)
"Things I see through my sunroof" would be fun even if you just shot stuff at random."
Have a great Easter Weekend. :~)
What a gorgeous shot! You can count on the fingers of one hand the days when LA skies are this clean and blue. OK, BOTH hands in South Pas!
Just looking at this lifts my mood.
Such a happy picture. I really love it. Twice told story: It reminds me of deep South Texas where I grew up with blue skies and tall palm trees. Through the sunroof. You'll get more wonderful shots and from a different angle.
Love this one Laurie. SOOOOOO SoCal.
wow. beautiful!
Ben is correct - this could serve as a Southern California Chamber of Commerce advertisement or make a good poster. Beautiful sky behind a picket fence of palm trees.
I think sunroof photography might be your niche, mon amie. This is fab and it just makes me smile.
BTW, a nod to you and yesterday's Chevy tomorrow on my blog. You inspired me to dig out a rather unflattering Easter shot! HA

WV: RABION
Would that be a mad French chien?
I said it before, and I'll say it again. I swear we are not living in the same South Pasadena.
Ah, your daughter and the sippy cup -- she knew what she was doing.
(Don't believe her when she pleads "consmst.")
That sunroof coffeetable book is a million dollar idea. Now if you could only find that million-dollar spare time ...
Thanks, everybody! Until tomorrow...
I'm sure that nobody cares that I tried to climb one of these tousle-top babies when I was six years old. Is it any wonder that my mother wondered if I would reach maturity? Yes, I fell, on my back. I remember thinking (with my six year old mind) that at the top I would have a wonderful view. Tree climbing where I grew up just doesn't happen because there are no trees, except palm trees.
Sssooo beautiful !!!! This photo really gives an idea of Summer + Sea + Sand + Sky
