very eye-catching, Laurie. And a very nice composition. I like this. And the palm trees you posted earlier.

Here's to the Easter Bunny! When and where else do you get vivid colors like that? I love your photo. Happy Easter to all.

This is a very cool picture. You've taken the ordinary and made it extraordinary. Well done!

Would that work on a Matzo Ball?

Gosh, do you always match the cups and bowls with the paint colors? :)

Love the lighting here.

Have fun egg painting!

Happy Easter to you as well!

Gorgeous!

Are those all-white containers tinted by the egg dye? Or did you actually match the container colors to the dye?

I also love the lighting, the hot spots and the angle of the shot... it makes this look like gravity-defying wall art.

Hey gang,

I have my husband Jon to thank for the cups matched to the dyes. (His impressive Japanese design sense often astonishes me!) I snapped this as he and the wee one were getting ready to color eggs.

Shot through your sunroof, no doubt! ;-)

My WV is biatennu which sounds like Hebrew for, "we made someone a saint."

This really jumps out, love this! My egg coloring skills seem so inadequate now...

Mister Earl---hard to do on a matzah ball, but, considering egg salad is popular on matzah, hard boiled eggs are also popular. One year we DID color Passover hard boiled eggs before cracking them open for salad etc.

Love the colors Laurie. Happy Easter!

Trish: Today, I've been spreading avacado on matzah!

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for all the nice comments! I really was excited when I saw this spread out on our kitchen counter. (Although my daughter was not too keen on having to wait for me to shoot a dozen different shots with various settings to get the light right.)

Mister E, I'm cracking up about the idea of dying matzo balls. That is too funny.

Thank you, thank you, thank you all for such supportive and happy comments. And Oleg, tomorrow's post features one of the eggs...

Happy Easter, Happy Passover everyone! Until tomorrow...
