Okay, help me out here. New eyelashes? I’ve been caught up with raising a toddler and I am often out of the loop but, honestly, new eyelashes? I’ve never really given that much thought to my eyelashes – other than to coat them with Great Lash every morning for the last 30 years and wish they were Bambi-ish and fringy like my friend Pat’s – so I didn’t realize this was an area that might need serious enhancement. Then again, this is Southern California so there will be no beauty stone unturned. (Or eyelash unrenewed.)
I snapped this outside Puff Salon on Mission. I always see really beautiful, ultra hip looking people going in and out of there so I’m sure they’re on to something…

I'm trying, but I can't seem to shake a vision I am having of Tammy Faye Baker.
Hey, you can get a new face, so why not?
"I always see really beautiful, ultra hip looking people going in and out of there so I’m sure they’re on to something…" --Hmmm, you must be talking about our fellow bloggers, corect?
"Mike, hey! I grew up in Texas so what does that make me? :-)" --Laurie, let me think about that one. If I knews your hubbie I would ask him. Don't get me started with these open-ended questions!
Great colors on that street. I luv that sandwich board, unlike Pas, i hope they're legal in the South...
Gotta run across de st to my fav cafe. have an e day y'all!
It's a popular procedure with asian women. Expensive.
Never been tempted. Mine are long enough that I'd look too much like a manga cartoon with them. I have tried blue mascara on the top lash. Years ago I should add. You've got me thinking now
Everybody I know got their eye lashes, feet and hands at the same time.
Oops, I didn't realize that Linda was still signed in. I wonder if I left a wrong name on any other web site.
HAHA - I love what Virginia said. I think they are those lashes that are semi-permanent and applied in tiny two at a time clumps. Maybe I'm wrong.
It does make you laugh to read that sign. Let's check it out next week.
:~)
Sorry to be late in leaving a comment, but I just discovered your blog via the comment you left on the Phoenix Daily Photo site.
Your post reminded me of an advertisement I saw recently for a children's petting zoo in Orange County, California. It showed a picture of pig with a very wrinkled face. THe caption said "These may be the only wrinkles you will see in Orange County."
David, that about sums up Southern California!
Welcome to my blog. I'm off to check out yours...
"Keep on shakin' with new eyelashes." Now wait a minute. Is it eyelashes that make you shake? I must pop in there the next time I am in town. My curiosity is aroused.
