Straight out of futuristic movie from the 40's. If I were to name it, it would be "The Rocketeer." Love the black/red combination. Fab find!!
Nice shot! It's a Hudson Commodore coupe, but I don't know the marque well enough to determine the year exactly, but most likely the 1948 or 1949 model.
You're forgiven, Laurie. It's a different model, but when I first saw it I immediately thought of the first car used in "Driving Miss Dasiy," a '49 Hudson.

That is an absolute gem of a car! I'd die to ride in it or drive it!
