And guess what? If you've got a spare 1.5 million, the place can be yours. Recently listed, the house has a unique open floor plan, light-filled rooms offering magnificent views of the San Gabriels and even a pool. (You can find out more about the listing right here.)

Oh I just love this one. Particularly the numbers to the left. As small as they are on the large stucco structure, they seem to ground it a bit. GREAT shot, LA.
Very cool series this week. I wish I could see inside the house.
love the angles..and yeah, the house sounds fab.
there are a number of houses in the Altos that are similarly built and styled. Don't know if they are all C. S. Conners built, but they look a lot alike.
Until I looked at the googlemaps, I hadn't remembered there were so many keyhole properties near this one, or that there was a HUUUGE tennis court not far behind this house too. Lots of little hidden treasures in them thar hills that even *I* didn't find in my childhood!
can you go and trespass a little further? I want that front door
Great house! Terrible feng shui! It's a pity, you never want a road to be pointing at your house.
@JF---yeah, roads into houses are bad things, especially at the bottom of a huuuuuge hill. Ask the people at the bottom of Via del Rey and Monterey...actually, ask the neighbors, I think the original owners moved out of that house after it was destroyed by an out of control trash truck. The 2 story one with a wall around it now.
grew up on this block of Flores De Oro, just a few houses down. definitely a unique one w/ cool shapes. Affluent Joneses take note.
Interesting, Trish, this must be a photo of the accident:
