Gates (#6)

I can't begin to say how much I love this blue gate. It cheers me up every time I see it. Funny how some blues can make you feel anything but blue.

Nice photo. Great gate. Not exactly sure where it is. The Ella song is what some folks call "Jump Blues." "Blue Bayou" is a great song co-written by Roy Orbison. In baseball, a fastball is sometimes called a "Ronstadt" because it "blew by you."

Oh, that's my favorite shade of blue. It's a bright yet deep blue you see throughout Norway. Lovely photo, the way the cream-yellow of the wall and the red bouganvilla enhance the blue.

Earl, how about Hoagie Carmichael http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9C1vJ2Z8aI0

I was wondering if you would show this one, it might be my favorite residential gate. I like this series.

Mr. Earl, it's on Camino Lindo, near the intersection with Alpha.

Looks like the same blue Freda Kahlo painted her house in the Coyoacan neighborhood of Mexico City. I looooove it!

cobalt blue. I wish my minimalist neighbors had appreciated my bouganvillia like your blog audience does
