So Close

It was a perfect Model T. One I hadn't seen before. It was moving slowly, with no other cars on the road. I pulled into a red zone, scrambled with my point-and-shoot and ... sneezed. Which is why you see a slightly blurry, slightly scary image of me in the car side mirror instead of another lovely photo to add to our GOSP collection of South Pasadena vintage cars.

I'm losing my touch.

HAHAHAHAHA You have no idea how often I do that too. I had my camera phone up the moon roof the other day. I'm sure the guy behind me thought I was nuts.

This makes me laugh so hard. Heh, at least you can laugh at yourself!!!

I think it's a great photo. We get to see your technique for holding the camera and you even captured the iron manhole cover on the street.

WV: Wedness - what was on your sideview mirror after you sneezed.

Caution: Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.

You and Hiker both have interesting mirror shots up today.

lol...it happens. It is why when I used to still shoot film, I'd hope for a ratio of about 2-3 good shots in a roll of 36...life happens.

reminds me of years ago when digital was still pretty new. Sweetie had the camera all ready in the passenger seat to have unlimited ability to grab the pics I missed seeing while driving and not hitting anything. When we stopped to look at all of the wonderful pix snapped, we found a theme...trees, cars, telephone poles---or in one snap, ALL FLIPPIN THREE! Grumbling ensued from the passenger seat. I tried hard not to laugh. I think I still have a bruise from the smack on the arm I received! ;-)

wv: ounded....I was ounded out of the car by sweetie after laughing at the car, tree, pole pic

Well, at least we know how much effort goes into those photos.

Sweet, you're not losing your touch. It's just improv instead of your usual classical performance!

Petrea, I like your take on it. Improv... yeah!
