There's always something sad and lonely about a pole, wires and a clouded sky. I'm sure if it were the 60's, the likes of Dylan or Lennon would have written a woeful tune about it. I'm a complete cloud nut. I can gaze at them forever. The ones in this image are painting worthy. :)
Beautiful L. I love light blue skies, even if it's just a hint. Judy, I wish I could think of a Lennon or Dylan tune to go w/ this. Please help, only Gordon Lightfoot is coming thru.
In December of 2007, after many years on the west side of Los Angeles (and at least a third of those years spent stuck in traffic on Pico Boulevard) my family settled into a happy little house in South Pasadena. This daily blog covered almost 5 years as I put down roots in my new home town -- and almost 5 more as I settled in and became a South Pas old-timer. Here it is...my time capsule of South Pasadena.

We woke up to over a foot of new snow in the Eastern Sierras. A bigger storm is expected tonight. It's a good day to stay home.
I vaguely remember what chilly weather is like...and the clouds outside...can't tell where they begin or end!!! Brrrrr!!!!

This is an interesting shot, quite beautiful, showing the trasition from sunlight to dark and ominous rain clouds.
The shot feels/looks as if you were standing in the middle of the train tracks to get the perfect angle!
I noticed that Fall is here also! But we "don't have seasons" here so we both are probably mistaken.
