Are those poplar trees? Some kind of conifer?
I'm still trying to make sense out of the first post. Have'nt succeeded yet. All I can say is: WHAAAAT!
As for the sky. It speaks lovely volumns for itself.

Judy--the most prevalent trees on parkways in the Altos are Gingko trees. I can't see then well enough to tell and I can't remember what is planted on Alpha well enough...I'll go look at googlemaps and check. Could also be a maple.

they aren't gingkos but google maps is looking right into the sun and fuzzy...so I just can't tell. Not maples either.
ok, this is going to bug me...oh, wait, I've got a friend on FB who grew up on Alpha...off to see if she remembers! ;-)
Love those Southern California blue skies!!! One of the bonuses of living here in Mammoth is that in between the snow storms, we too have Southern California skies!!!
