While I was out taking pictures yesterday afternoon, Santa's elves were busy in the house. (Or maybe Little Bit and Jon were just feeling particularly festive...)
So, how many days do you think it will last before someone just has to take a bite out of it?

Bit might take a bite.
How cute!!! That's something I never did with mine. We made the cookies and decorated other stuff but the gingerbread house wasn't one of them. What a fun tradition to have!
"I'll Be Home for Christmas" comes to mind with all of the treasured family photos behind. :)
They made this? I'm extremely impressed! (I'm impressed with this photo as well.)
How many days? I wouldn't be surprised if that bite has already been taken.
I read Hansel and Gretel too many times as a kid, and that child-eating witch ruined gingerbread houses for me forever. Every time I see one, I want to tell those kids to RUN!!!! ;o)
WV: nosis - Run, kids, or the witch will eat your nosis!
It's beginning to look like......it's time to get the first installment for my property tax out today
I'm very impressed!!! I've never made a gingerbread house!!
Ugh PA!!! Thanks for the reminder!
I like the wildness of the icing, the MacArthur Park feel of it. Gluten free? ;-)
Property Taxes? Holy Cr*p! I think you just saved me a penalty PA and Chieftess.
I'm suspicious; it probably has been nibbled round the back.
Update: It's 5:35 and I see no nibbles yet. Hmmmmm...
I love that Little Bit made this with her daddy.
