I love the front door of the Eddie Park house. It's just so cinematic. I thought of a boarding house run by a sweet white haired lady with a bun at the nape of her neck. She makes homemade biscuits and even allows a one night stay for those who cannot pay. With the etched design on the door, it is come to be known as the Wreath House, where all are welcome.
This is where the city fathers used to meet for lunch and make back-door deals behind closed doors. Land grabbers, robber barons, mobsters... they were all there.
Maybe it's the cinematic theme to Laurie's post, but I see Abby and Martha Brewster of Arsenic an Old Lace behind this door, giving a lonely old gentleman some of their Elderberry wine...
She nervously approached the door to the Edgewater Institute of Science and Philosophy. Laurie had no idea what a spiritual telegraph operator did, but she figured she'd learn on the job.
It's where Snow White lives, of course!
