Settings: Part 31

I can't decide what we would find beyond that gate, but whatever it is, I'll bet it would make a great setting for a movie. You know what that means, my dear readers-with-cinematic-brainpower: if you were directing a movie scene set at this location, what would happen here? (I'm thinking either something with fairies and enchantment -- maybe a contemporary retelling of Midsummer Night's Dream -- or a party scene involving a 1970s wooden hot tub. There just has to be one of those back there...)

On another note:
Be sure to check out the latest addition to the City Daily Photo family of blogs: Mammoth Lakes Daily Photo by our most beloved friend (and always a Southern California girl no matter what location) The Chieftess.

Can you believe I'm at a loss? HA

On a 2nd note: I couldn't figure out how to comment on Kathy's blog. Am I a dunce?

I'm thinking noirish '70s. I'm thinking Shampoo but darker.

PS: My daughter just saw me looking at your blog. Here's the conversation:

E: Who is that?

M: Laurie. She's one of my blogger friends.

E. How old is she? She looks really young, like she's in high school.

It's from the original "Godfather." It's the scene in Sicily where Michael goes into hiding after murdering the corrupt police captain in the Italian cafe in New York. Michael finds the love of his life while in Sicily, but she is killed in a car bombing in this very courtyard.

wv: gemacess - the ability to obtain valuable stones.

No Db...too tropical for the Sicilian car bombing!!! I think it's Jane's home ten years after returning home from the jungles with Tarzan.

Judy...don't fret...the new blog templates at blogger have a lot of things I can't figure out!!! You actually have to scroll over the comments for it to show up...still at the bottom of the post...not very conducive for inviting comments!!! I got so frustrated last night that I started looking at other blog sites!!!

Yay Laurie!!! Thank you for the plug for my new blogging attempt!!! It's going to be a challenge to do a daily blog!!! My hat's off to you and all my daily city bloggers for their daily commitment!!
