Candy Red...

... and just as sweet.

Just when I think I've photographed every vintage car in South Pasadena, I stumble upon another one. How is this for a delicious little bonbon?

Gosh, what a cute car! Is it a Ford Anglia?
Old cars, retro style, has become popular over here too.

I was thinking it was a Nash Rambler!! What a cutie. Maybe a little known Studebaker model? I like how the red pops against the green of the grass and shrubbery.

wv: picaroun: maybe if I picaroun, I can figure out what kind of car that is

Ok, I did research and it is indeed a Rambler. It's a 1962 Rambler American. Whew! Now I can go on about my day.

LITTLE NASH RAMBLER

The car in the previous video is a Nash Metropolitan, which most people think of when they think Nash Rambler. But this video shows a real Nash Rambler, just like the one in Laurie's photo.

A REAL NASH RAMBLER

I thought it was a Rambler, too. I can't figure out the year, though. I looked through pictures and video of a bunch of them and couldn't find it.

Isn't it cute? THere are some great vintage Rambler commercials on YouTube.

Ah, now I see that Judy the Car Whiz knew the year. Yay! I was looking at fifties models. No wonder I couldn't find it.

I want that car. Beautiful, all original condition. An early economy car from an era where bigger was better.
