Going the Distance

I could hear the song all the way to my car -- actually, I played the same one a few times during my last real road trip almost 15 years ago. The music was almost, though not quite, as loud as the laughter from the open windows.

It's great to be young and free with a full tank of gas, a sunny day and a haircut that makes your parents crazy. (And remind me that I said this when Little Bit is a teenager.)

How did you and Petrea get on the SAME page today?

I love the acidic blues and greens. It adds to the feel of it and to the funk of the music. I like this a lot.

most excellent duuuude!

loooove the 'hawk!

reminds me of the days we'd crank KROQ---not so much because we wanted to listen to it, but to p!ss off our parents and anyone withing earshot.

and just the other day I made a carful of kids LOL as I grooved to their beat---asked them to crank it up so I could cardance too. they weren't sure if I really meant it...then I started to sing along. perhaps a buzzkill for them? ;-)

oh for the days of a few bucks in the pocket and a tank of gas!

I love this. It looks like you used a lomo filter or took it with an old polaroid. There is a real post 70s timelessness to this. Great work.
