I'll bet you thought I would post a photograph of one of South Pasadena's famous green parrots? Instead, take a look at another of our feathered neighbors. I've seen this guy and his posse wandering all over town, especially in the Arroyo adjacent neighborhoods and in Monterey Hills.Color week continues for a few more days!

Those guys kind of creep me out for some reason. The color palette is great but I am just not a fan of peacocks. I like how the neck and head "match" the stairs. :)
That is a great, colorful male bird! Can't see one w/o thinking of Green Pastures restaurant in Austin where they roamed free. Too bad they have such horrible "chirps."

I was nearly dive bombed by a peacock at the LA Zoo!!! But I love them anyway!!!
