Settings: Part 39

Did you guys think I'd forgotten about my favorite game?

Slap on those director's caps and channel your inner auteur. I've given you the perfect setting ... just tell me, if this were part of a movie, what would happen here?

I think Ernest Hemingway will get out in to the garden soon.....

Seriously, I don`t know what would happen here...

But one thing I know: It is the perfect LOCATION and very very nice.

HAVE A NICE WEEKEND!

Olivia DeHavilland is the frustrated plain British spinster, while Loretta Young plays the fashion savvy socialite sister who has come to visit. On some levels, Loretta is jealous of her sister's staunch morals and satisfaction with the austere, while she seems to always get caught up on the shallowness of the English social set. Most of the drama is inside, as they learn to work out their vast differences, as their older brother (played by Claude Rains) lays dying in the upstairs bedroom.

Where is this?

This home was the location of the conspiracy of a small group that tried to take over a small-town police and fire department. The movie tells the story of how the conspiracy was discovered, exposed, and finally toppled.

WV: hashew. God Bless You!

This is where Bette Davis lived before moving to Sunset Blvd.

I believe this is on Oaklawn, Mr. Earl.

Whatever it is, someone needs to be on that porch playing an out of tune banjo.

I went to a slumber party there once.

Emerald, really? I'd love to see the interior. I keep hoping one of the historic homeowners will just invite me in one say when I'm wandering around with my camera! :-)
