Tangerine Dream

I just have to thank the vintage car aficionados in our lovely town. Every time I think I've photographed all the classic cars in South Pas, I find another one. I stumbled upon this cool beauty on a particularly hot summer afternoon. It's as luscious as a dreamsicle!

And what did you think of TG's music?

A Dreamsicle. Oh, wonderful shades of yesteryear.

I know that thing can fly!

Is that a Plymouth Belvedere? I like how it's juxtaposed with the pink bush in the upper right.

Not to mention the white line in the center dividing the two scenes!

It's beautiful. You have me thinking about time travel again.

That is a 1958 Plymouth Belvedere. I remember back in the mid 90's when I worked at the PD I would get off work and take my 1956 Pontiac and just drive. It was my way of debriefing after a long shift. I would drive all over South Pas. For up to 2 hours waving at people and enjoying the day before heading back home to San Marino. Simpler times...

Whoever owns that car has no idea it's REALLY supposed to be mine!

Elegant and very nice. Judy and Mr Earl's comments read side by side are quite humorous, made me laugh. They make a great pair!

I crossed paths with a tangerine dream the other night near the HS on Fair Oaks. It was a low rider chevy. three tone with a meta flake paint job and some high polished chrome. Reminded me of the cars I used to see in the Highland Park J N Box parking lot where me and my teen squad flirted with their drivers.

Hey, just got back from the Rat Pack sing-along at the Music Center. Lots of fun. Music provided by South Pasadena's Dean Mora.

Wow, that sounds fun, Mister Earl. I love that music.
